I was referred to Madhurya Shroff by a family friend, and decided to contact her over the other henna artists in the area, as I was impressed by her portfolio and she was the only one who was certified. 

Your wedding day is supposed to be the happiest day for a bride, though the planning and preparations can be so stressful that you forget to relax and enjoy the moment. I was very tense and nervous until the mendhi night when I had my first experience with Madhurya. Firstly she is very professional, not to mention quick, and amazingly makes few to no mistakes. I chose her Deluxe mendhi package, and her work was so intricate and unique. To my delight I got many compliments from the guests, who also happily had theirs done. I felt truly pampered for those few hours spent with her, as she is not only a talented mendhi artist but such a pleasant and warm person -- you can really see that this is her passion in life. Lastly what I like most about how Madhurya works, is that she listens to what you want done and works according to your individual preference/style. She has packages for all budgets, and is very affordable. I am very thankful to her for decorating me in gorgeous mendhi for such an important celebration in my life. I would definitely recommend her to any bride, after all don't take my word for it... just see for yourself.

I was one of the very lucky people to be mhendi modeling for Madhuriya didi in March 2008 at Dulhan Expo in New York. There are no words to really describe her work. It's almost like you have to see it and experience it yourself. She is definitely not your ordinary henna artist and her designs prove that. She has learned from the best and because of her excellent talent, the extravagant design that she put on my hand took her very little time complete. It was amazing to see her fill mhendi design in my hands with different colors to match an outfit that I had on. So she does not only do traditional work, but also some very new styled trendy design as well. Everyone really loved the work she had done on my hands. It was definitely a great pleasure to be one of her models and get some glamorous designs done by her.
